Our parish is very blessed to have wonderful music for all of our weekend masses. The variety of music styles at each mass allow parishioners to enjoy everything from traditional choral selections to more contemporary praise and worship with a full band sound.
Each of our groups works hard every week carefully choosing and rehearsing their music selections to enhance the liturgy. They practice at least once a week and attend several planning meetings throughout the year. Although it takes a big commitment they will all tell you that it’s a real gift to be able to praise God through song with each other and with this amazing parish.
If you are interested in participating in a musical or technical capacity (we are always looking for sound people) come and see us after mass or leave your name with the church secretary.
The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may share in every good work.
We ask you, brothers, to respect those who are laboring among you and who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you, and to show esteem for them with special love on account of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours; yours are the eyes through which to look at Christ’s compassion to the world, yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now.
