Children’s Liturgy ministers to children from the ages of 4 to 8 years of age (or until First Communion). We currently have 10 teachers and could do with a couple of extra ones. We all teach one session per month and we currently have Children’s Liturgy at the 11 o’clock Sunday mass only. New teachers are always welcome but we do prefer new members to start out at the beginning of the term which is early to mid-October at which time the schedule and teams are set up. We wrap up at the end of June to coincide with the end of the school year.
Teaching the little ones the Gospel of Our Lord is very rewarding. All lesson plans are provided as are the activity suggestions but it is the teacher’s responsibility to photocopy and prepare the activity. All materials and art supplies are also provided.
