Parish Life at St Clare's

One of the best ways to know God is through His Word – The Bible is the privileged expression of His Word. It is written under the inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit with God as its author. It is our story of salvation and just as God “walked with Adam and Eve” in the Garden of Eden; he also wants a relationship with us, a dialogue.

By studying The Bible we are able to grasp the big picture of the story of salvation, putting all the characters, events, stories and our lives into their proper context. Begin to make sense of it all by joining us as we continue our Great Adventure.

Mark 10:43-45

But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Philippians 3:8

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ

2Cor.9:6-8

The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may share in every good work.
